Creating an Award

Award configuration begins with the creation of an Award Record.

  1. Navigate to the Awards App > Awards.
  2. Click Add New Award.
  3. Fill out the Add Award form and complete all required fields.
    1. Enter an award Name.
    2. Create a Description for the award.
    3. Select the award Category if desired. These categories can be created in the Awards App > Setup.
    4. Enter the award Year.
    5. Specify a Memento, such as a trophy or other prize.
    6. Set the Nomination Start and End Date. Nominations can only be created within this range.
    7. Choose Allow Public Nomination if non-staff users should have the ability to suggest award nominees. (See also Configuring the Non-Staff Nominations Page.)
    8. Set the Customer Type eligible for the award: Individual or Organization.
  4. Click Save.
